RSA Recognized as a Houston
Top 100 Small Business

An Independent Panel of Judges recognized RSA (Robert Shields & Associates) as one of Houston's Top 100 Small Businesses for its achievements in 2004.

The Houston Business Journal's Houston Small Business 100 recognizes leading small businesses located in and around the Houston area. Businesses are ranked by 2004 gross revenue. RSA received its award at an awards ceremony on Friday, May 20, 2005 held at the Westin Galleria Hotel.

The Houston Business Journal, Comerica, Boyar & Miller, BKD LLP, Pierpont Communications, Wm. Rigg Co., and Reliant Energy sponsored the event and awards.

To qualify for consideration, companies must demonstrate that in 2004 they:

• employed no more than a maximum of 500 employees;
• earned a maximum of $75 million in 2004 sales/revenue;
• had operations existing for a minimum of 5 years; and
• were located in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery or Waller Counties.

RSA, ranked ninety-first (91), met each of these criteria while proving its outstanding accomplishments to date, achieving consistent top line growth of more than 37.5 percent over the past two years.
