Inc. Magazine Recognizes RSA as One the "Elite 5000"
The 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America

Houston - Inc. magazine's "5,000 List" is their assessment of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in America and what makes them work. RSA Corporation was listed as 46^th in the Houston metro area and near the mid-point of the overall list. This is Inc.'s first year to publish this prestigious list.

The Inc. 500 has been the essential guide to the most entrepreneurial companies in America, for over 25 years. In 2007, Inc., expanded their list to include the top 5000 fastest growing companies in America. Inc. considers these companies as the elite -- a mere sliver of the seven million or so companies in the U.S. that have employees. These companies produced $194 billion in 2006 revenue, about 1.5 percent of the US national gross domestic product, and employed more than 900,000 people, about 0.6 percent of the jobs in the U.S.

The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2003 through 2006. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2003, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2006. Revenue in 2003 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2006 must have been at least $2 million.
