Stephen C. Sweeney - COO

As Chief Operating Officer, Stephen C. Sweeney works to ensure RSA Corp excels in all areas of business by creating positive experiences for clients, candidates and employees. He is responsible for the governance and execution of the RSA Corp business plan for growth, which includes building business processes and capabilities that enable the company to grow and scale. He guides RSA Corp toward increasing its market share through organic growth, new service offerings, as well as acquisition and partnership. 

Sweeney served as vice president of sales and marketing at RSA Corp from 2003-2005. His previous business experience included the founding and co-founding of several Houston-area companies – Clinic Station, the Clareo Group and Spur Digital. 

At Computer Associates, he was a senior vice president and general manager of professional services. Prior to Computer Associates, Sweeney directed the growth of information management professional services practices for PLATINUM Technology. He holds certifications in leadership and mentoring, project management, sales management and negotiation.

Sweeney received his MBA with academic excellence from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. There, Sweeney received the prestigious William Michael Shermet award, a Batten Entrepreneurial Scholarship and a Frank E. Genovese Fellowship. Sweeney received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Virginia and is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa. 

He has been an active member of the Houston Technology Center, the MIT Forum of Texas, The Rice Alliance and the Greater Houston Partnership Emerging Business Council. He serves as director of the West Ranch Management District. An avid SCUBA diver and Astros baseball fan, he and his wife have three wonderful children and live in Friendswood.
